It warms my soul to sit back and look at the whole year as a book telling a story of who I am, and how I am creating myself.
2017 marks a crossroads in my entrepreneurial path where the currents of the Divine Feminine took the reigns and steered me towards deeper self-care and creative sovereignty.
Here are my Top 10 Highlights from 2017, may these inspire you to ponder what shaped your year…
1. Traveling
My life has always been filled with a lot of inner traveling through my Soul Art journeys and meditation. This year I was met with an outer reflection to match all my inner explorations. I traveled to New York; Sedona, Arizona; Austin,Texas: Portland, Oregon; China and New Zealand. This image is from the stunning mountains near Wanaka in New Zealand. I’ll be sharing more of the images created during these trips throughout the coming year. Our Earth is epic!
2. Selling my Paintings
In the beginning of my entrepreneurial path I sold physical things that I made with my hands and my imagination. As the digital age took over I moved away from selling physical objects and focused on selling virtual experiences such as creative spiritual journeys. This year I returned to my artist roots and sold a number of physical paintings that were featured on the Rainbow House.
3. The Rainbow House
Transforming an old, dilapidated house into a symbol of hope and inspiration. Creating the Rainbow House went much deeper than simply adding beauty to a neighborhood. It sparked a radical healing of an old festering family wound that had been locked away in my foundation for years. It also opened the doors for my art to find a new position in the global family.
4. Creative Sabbatical
Ahhhhh….breathing space. I gave myself a 4 month Creative Sabbatical, from September-December, to simply BE and allow my creative impulse to guide me without need or expectation for it to turn into anything. After luxuriating in this fertile space for many months I now feel full and ready to share from a foundation of over-flow.
5. Yoni Art
Launching the Yoni Art Project this year was incredible! Over 10,000 people expanded their yoni consciousness with my free Yoni Personality Quiz. I gave birth to the Yoni Art Coloring Book, the Yoni Art Gallery, and the Yoni Art Course. This revolutionary project blessed me with waves of orgasmic awe and appreciation for the power of WOMAN!
6. International Soul Art Day!
I love Soul Art! And,… the love keeps growing, and growing, as more and more people enter the creative vortex of Soul Art. This year’s International Soul Art Day blew my mind as thousands of Creative Spirits from around the world connected virtually to create art together for the day. I was in my studio, on a live-web-cam, with Jen Mazer, Lainie Love Dalby, Whitney Freya, Alexis Cohen and Rachel Archelaus. So good!
7. Harmonizing Business with Nature
This doesn’t look like much, but it is actually something very special! For years, I dreamed of having a tree as my office desk. One of my highest values is harmonizing my business structures and systems with the Earth. This year the stars aligned as a local Black Walnut Tree was struck by lightning, making it available to be used in creative ways. I found the perfect wood craftsman who could work with the wood and my tree table is currently transforming from dream to reality. This is the actual piece that will be my new office desk. You can see where the lightning struck on the right side. Talk about supercharging my office and business with the Earth’s Natural Power!
8. Connecting with my Creative Soulmate
Kevin Thom has been the single biggest influence in my life over the past decade. He has the most glorious heart and his capacity to love stretches me into spaces I’ve never been before. This year we deepened into each other and elevated our creative partnership in ways that light me up with supernova sparkles!!
9. BIG Love
Seeing the largest heart on the planet had a major impact on me. This is the actual heart of a Blue Whale on display at the ROM in Toronto. Seeing it up-close got me dreaming about how I could expand my own capacity for love. Coming home from this giant heart sighting I decided to consciously appreciate my life and people more. The ripple effect of this BIG Love has been weaving into my daily life in the most magical ways.
10. The Year of the Divine Feminine
2017 was definitely the year of the Divine Feminine! She guided me deeper into my womb, my blood, my yoni, my cycle and my fierce nature. She seduced me into more self-care. She lured me into the cave of invisibility to find my true light. She reminded me of what really lights me up, and she patiently offered me many lessons to speak my truth with unbending love.
