Soul Art Day Reflections

July 31, 2022

This year marked our 10th International Soul Art Day!

The energy this year felt different for a number of reasons. As a collective, we’d been in a Covid cocoon which left most of us exhausted from the uncertainty and isolation.  I was listening to this energy in the preparation of the event and asked for guidance about the best date and process to support the pulse of the moment.

Without knowing that much about astrology, I received clear guidance from my inner being that July 28 was the day.  It was a new moon, and felt like a fresh new beginning. I found out after that this was actually a highly significant day for coming out of the cocoon to start a fresh new cycle.

Soul Art Day felt like a total refresh!

During the day, there was a lot of energy buzzing in and around the vortex of the day. When we started the day, there were 11,711 people signed up, and by the end of the day there were over 12,000 people from around the world connecting with the beautiful energy of Soul Art Day.

Soul Art Day gathers people from around the world to create art together for the day.

This year we had artists creating with me on a Livestream and a very active Soul Art Community Facebook Group!

I was working on a giant canvas in my Soul Art Studio.  I had pre-painted the surface with a wash of blue, and I had bodymapped myself in a number of shapes and poses all over the canvas.

I had no idea what was going to happen with my piece!

In the first creating session, I immediately starting outlining the body shapes to find a structure and see what shapes would emerge and give me a sense of direction for the piece.

I was getting so much joy and pleasure from the way the body shapes were overlapping and creating new shapes through their interconnectedness. This revealed my first insight…

Through connection nü shapes emerge!

Through our global connection nü shapes, patterns, beliefs, and possibilities emerge!

Each Soul Art Day brings its own kind of magic. This year, I felt a huge sense of relief and revitalization through our connection. After spending so much time in a cocoon, it felt so good to “feel” each other’s presence again.

I am still basking in the glow of Soul Art Day (and I’m still working on my giant painting)!

It is truly such an honor to connect and create with our global community of Creative Spirits.

You are my Soul Family!!
